Chinatown in Boston is the third largest Chinatown in the United States and the only Chinatown in New England, but it also boasts many other Asian heritages (including Japanese, Cambodian, and Vietnamese) and great restaurants that go along with them. While it is still a bustling traditional Chinatown at its center, high-rise apartment buildings are moving in at the edges, and plans are in the works to install condominiums in the area. It is an up-and-coming neighborhood for all groups of people, with a vibrant cultural history that is still bursting at the seems.
